The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football will again be partnering on a couple of events with Second Chance Animal Rescue. The events will take place on May 10 and 11.

First, the Sioux Falls Storm will be holding a pet food drive during the Storm home game on Saturday, May 10th to help support the Second Chance Rescue Center. All fans are encouraged to bring dog and/or cat food to the game to help the cause. All fans bringing food will receive a gift from Second Chance and be placed in a drawing for various prizes from the Storm.

You can also spend some quality time with Mom and help raise money for a great charity at the 3rd Annual Strut Your Mutt. The Storms annual dog walk will take place on Mothers Day which is Sunday, May 11. Strut Your Mutt will also benefit Second Chance Rescue Center.

The walk serves as an opportunity to spend a spring afternoon with family and friends. Walkers are encouraged, but not required, to bring their dogs and walk along the 1.1 mile route. People wanting to participate in the walk are asked to donate $10 to Second Chance. Check-in on May 11 will begin at 1:00 PM and walking will begin at 1:30 PM at Lyons Park (14th and Phillips). Storm players and coaches will be participating in the walk as well.
