Frankie's Sports Bar & Grill

Dining at Frankies Sports Bar & Grill was awesome! Walking in there, you wouldn’t believe it was a sports bar, except for the numerous amounts of flat screens! I would describe Frankies as an ‘Upscale Sport Bar’. The ambience and décor are very finely furnished…from beautiful mosaic tile backsplash behind the bar, to dim, trendy lighting fixtures hanging over the tables. And the food was delicious! I ordered the SoDak Fish Tacos. It was lightly breaded Walleye inside round flat bread for the taco shell. There was some pico de gallo and lettuce inside, and the presentation was just as good as the tacos! Not too spicy but definitely a south of the border type of seasoning in there. I got their sweet potato puffs for my side, which are a lot like tater tots, a good change from regular French fries. I highly recommend Frankies Sports Bar & Grill for any occasion!

Today’s lunch at Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill located in the Ramkota Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Not your typical hotel bar, it has a rustic, cozy atmosphere featuring a fireplace and several large screen TVs.  I ordered the Frankie’s Philly with parmesan fries.  The philly came loaded with roast beef, grilled onions and variety of peppers
(I held the mushrooms) and topped with swiss cheese.  The parmesan fries were really good—just enough cheese flavor for a distinct taste.  Whether you are staying at the hotel or looking for a place to eat in Sioux Falls, Frankie’s offers a variety of options and the food is worth the visit.

Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill is a warm, inviting restaurant to grab a great lunch! I enjoyed their Dakota Melt sandwich, which included parmesan fries. It did not disappoint! The beef brisket was piled high on the marbled rye bread and was topped with cheese, bacon and spicy coleslaw. The parmesan fries were not overly salty or seasoned, and the parmesan touch was a nice change to the typical fries you can get anywhere else. The server was friendly and fun and had our food out in no time. This will not be my last trip to Frankie’s for lunch!

I chose the Nathan mini hotdogs and a side of onion rings. What a great choice!!!  There's no brand of hotdogs more flavorful than the Nathan brand!!!  And they were served with ALL the toppings you could ever want!!!  The onion rings were delicious, too!  Fresh and hot! I had a fantastic meal at Frankies!!!
